Reading The Holy Bible brings an awareness of how God desires His children to live. (Those who do not belong to God are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing!) Believers in Christ, let us live like God commands. (So glad you are wondering what we should be doing!) Our response to EVERYTHING is presented directly or in principle in The Holy Bible. Read it to be informed.
Because God's Spirit is fueled by His Word, our knowledge of Him should move us to boldly and confidently obey His commands. Not reading minimizes our knowledge of Him along with the outcome He desires; VICTORY over our circumstances! Let us maximize God's presence in this world by first reading His printed Word which fuels His Holy Spirit inside each believer. Then we must have faith--faith that leads to obedience. That's exactly where God wants us--His followers--doing what we should be doing! Reading. Fueled. Obeying! "But the people who know their God will display strength and take action" (Daniel 11:32b NASB). ******* Take a moment to post a scripture where God is telling us to read His word. Please provide one (1) scripture per post. Doing so will give bloggers an opportunity to comment on 'that' particular verse. Thank you! ~ Verna

Hi! I'm Verna Harvey.I dropped out of high school before completing the 11th grade. Since that time, I've worked very hard and have obtained my GED and earned three college degrees! Life was extremely hard before earning my GED. With the attainment of each college degree, additional doors were opened. Archives
