Psalm 100 has always been one of my favorite passages of scripture.
“1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” (Psalm 100)
Today was a special day for us. It was the first time we attended worship service at our church since Len’s surgery. It felt so good being back in God’s House! Even before arriving, Psalm 100 saturated my thoughts, especially verse 5: “For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” No matter what happens, God is ALWAYS good.
Prayerfully, Len’s health will continue to improve so that we can gradually increase our activities at home, church and in the community. Until then, we’ll just keep doing what we can and thank God for what He allows; for the Lord is good!
